I'm just starting to record, this was done with a POD and a drum machine. I think it could be louder, but I just crank the speakers up anyway. This is not a final copy but a rought draft...do you have any suggestions before I try recording it with live guitars and a better sound?? anyways, have a listen and tell me what ya think will improve it or to keep in mind before recording it again next time...Its a metal style arrangement, no vocals, with a traditional metal approach...I'm in the writing stages of the song when making a recording like this so recording qaulity wasnt really the focus of the recording, just an overall sketch of the arrangement was paramount. So, do you feel this arrangement works or what would you change??

thanks in advance for listening.

The song is called "Black Days"

Cool tune. I think it's got a good arrangement. Moves very fluidly. Could turn into a great song when done.

thanks for listening...im currently working on new riffs for a metal piece and when i have time i will post it, till then Im gonna be listening to more songs and music around here, lots of talent in here!

Nice playing.
hard to hear the lead guitar in places though... seems like a somewhat quiet recording too, or is it just me?

Cool stuff man. Nice playing and you have some really nice riffs in there. Leads need to come up quite a bit in a few spots. You could probably get away with more gain on your guitars but thats total preference. This would be great to hear with a real drummer who could add a little more "depth" to the drum parts. Nice scratch outline though either way.

Nice guitar work! I agree that the leads should be louder. The snare also sounds too "in your face". Maybe bring the volume down on the snare and bring the lead guitars up and it will sound a lot better.

Good stuff.

Nice mixing. Cool tones and riffs.
Yeah, that lead mixed to the right side could be louder, and the center lead at around the 2:00 mark.

Song starts off strong, but gets a little less interesting during the middle.
