The other day I brought a Zoom H2 handy recorder and its an impressive litlte machine, very vestatile.
Great for getting ideas down.
I was using it with my Allen heath Zed 12 FX.
Using the stereo phono record outs straight into the Zoom H2 line in.
I am using a BSS DI box hooked up to the mixer for my guitar & a audio tech AE5400 for vocals and using the excellent built in FX on the Allen & Heath.
I was impressed with the quality for just some rough ideas and songwriting purposes.
I am recording in Wav 16 bit. The H2 has an option of recording in 24 bit also.
Love this tiny beast.
