Rough mix, please critique.

Hey guys,

I have had this band in the studio for about 2 months, slowly knocking out their demo.

This track is just guitars and drums with scratch vocals(which were recorded with a 57 so there are a few plosives). So don't pay any attention to the vocals, as they were just for reference.

I know it is tough to tell anything from the mix without bass but let me know what you think.

Hello there, i didn't like the snare sound, too compressed? and the drums are too on front.
I like the guitars tone, sounds nice and warm, very cool.

Add the bass please, and the final vox, that's a whole new mix... the song is very interesting, i like to hear it finished.
