I have a 10'x18' room with 10'4" ceiling in the back of my detached garage that I'm using for my project studio. I currently have drywalled the ceilings and the outside of the walls but the interior walls are unfinished and just have insulation and the floor is concrete. I want to finish the room and have seen ideas on making 1x1 frames covered with heavy fabric for the walls instead of drywall or blueboard because the one inch air pocket is good for proofing and trapping. I live in the country so there's not a lot of traffic or other noise to contend with.
I am also interested on floor covering thoughts. Should I use carpet, interlocking rubber mats, ???
