What is the difference in quality and usage between a Roland UA-30 (or UA-100) and a SBLivePlatinum card? I am hard disk recording spoken word with CoolEdit2000. The soundcard + mic that came with my computer sounds like a child's tape recorder. I would like something quiet that is capable of producing nice depth of voice tone. Also, is CoolEdit2000 adequate for spoken voice recording?
