How do you create C.D.s using the Roland VS880 and how can I connect my 880 to a P.C.? If someone could let me know what cables I need as well as any software that would be great.

If you're talking about syncing, I guess that's covered in your owner's manual.
As far as transfering files to your computer, the only way I found, was by using a external SCSI drive.
The VS needs to be in MAS (Master) record mode (when you create a new song, you've got the choice between LIV, MT2, MT1, and MAS) and you need to use an external SCSI drive for the storage (I use an Iomega Jazz).
Once you've recorded your tracks, turn off the VS and connect the drive to the computer (If you're using windows, this disables the VS to read the drive again so make sure you've made a backup).
The files (obviously the biggest ones you'll see in the explorer, can be opened using WaveLab (maybe others) and by specifying what type of wave file it is (Big indian or small indian, dunno).
Another thing,...
If you do punch-ins, you'll end up with as many files as the punches you've made;... so it's best to record your track all at once.

Cheers.

Patrick.
