Roland VS-880EX Question

I have been having loads of problems trying a simple procedure: downloading my songs from my 880EX to my pc so I can burn them. I can't seem to get the music over unless I link my headphone jack on my recorder to the Mic jack on my pc. Of course the impedance difference causes distortion! Am I missing something? My AUX and Master output jacks on my 880 do not push any sound.


I would greatly appreciate any help.

I think you need a scuzzy.

I'm not a computer geek, so I don't even know what the hell a scuzzy is, but I think you need it. Basically, I think it's a way to transfer the data digitally, so that whatever is recoreded on your 880 will be EXACTLY what ends up on the cd.

Good luck; I'm workin on the same thing (sort of).
