Roland vs-840 Newbie questions

I can't figure out how to save (store) a new variation of a song.
The machine loads the song as (ie) Song # 3, tho the song name is IncredibleTune 3, then I re-record some tracks with variations, and want to save the new version as, say, IncredibleTune4, ..........how do I do it?
It justs saves the new version, erasing the old.

Where am I going wrong?
I know there's a way to do above.

Thanks for any help.

I have one of those, but it's been so long since Ive used it. (And I never really learned it well, which is why I gave it up for a computer-based DAW!!)
