I'm poking around inside of Pro Tools today to see how different parts work,
and going through some old stuff to decide what ideas I had jotted down in sound
years ago that I might like to record proper.
Here's a bit of a peculiar mix.
I recorded this on a Tascam Portastudio about 20 years ago, (four track cassette).
After I transferred it to digital it was necessary to flip tracks 3 and 4 backwards.
For some reason, the speeds still came out a little different, so I ended up snipping
and nudging tracks 3 and 4 at a few spots to get the trumpets to align.
This resulted in a sort of tremolo effect as they drift out of phase.
I used the hiss removal tool in Sony Sound Forge to clean up some of the tape noise,
but there is are a transient or two that I left in for space effect.
