Has anybody used this? Whats the latency situation?

Did it make you sell your overpriced TD-8/10?

Just bought one to use with my Hart Multipad. I've played with it over the weekend and I didn't notice any audible latency.

I haven't recorded with it yet. When I spoke with the folks at Hart Dynamics they recommended the unit because it has low latency.

$209 at Music123, I got Guitar Center to match the price.

Are rolls the same as with the TD-8/10?

What hardware/software are you triggering?

Not sure what you mean by rolls, I'm not a drummer. I have the TMC-6 midi out connected to my Roland XV-5050 sound module.

Aaaaaahhhhhh.

The whole thing about triggering is timing...when you play drums and are rolling, shuffling, doing quick ghost notes on dif drums many times a second, latency becomes a huge issue which is why electronic drums are still not as widely used as acoustic, especially by serious players.

Any drummers out there using the TMC-6?

Doesnt the XV-5050 have MIDI?

The folks at Hart recommended the TMC-6 because it uses the same trigger circuitry as the TD-8 and TD-10; it doesn't have any on-board sounds which is why I connect it to the XV-5050.

My TMC-6 midi out drives the XV-5050 midi in.
