I've been doing searches but haven't been able to find much.

Any one have any comments on this piece of equipment?

I'm thinking about buying one.

One more thing, is Roland dead? Why do I have to go to the Edirol website to get info about this product? Roland=Edirol I assume. Just wondering why they need a different name.

Thanks.

It's kind of like the way that Roland associates itself with Boss for certain applications. When it comes to PC recording, Roland likes to call itself "Edirol".

As for the keyboard, I don't like it too much. Mostely because it lacks the interface features that I look for in a controller.

I hate those Roland pitch controllers. It's a semi joystick type affair that you push up for modulation.

Not my cup of tea.

radiohead uses one live for playing samples, it cant be that bad if they chose that one over anything else they could have wanted.

I suppose you could shop for gear using that criteria...

HAH!

Well, I already bought it. It may be a little hasty but I needed something fast and there's not much selection around these parts.

It does seem to be quite a bit more durable than the Midiman Keystation I previously tried. Although there are a couple things that I don't like.

1. The modulation controller that was mentioned earlier. A wheel-type controller would be better.

2. There's no transposing.

All else is so far so good.
