Roland Octa Capture Multi-Track Recording

Hey guys,

So I recently got the Roland Octa Capture, and have 1 problem. I own an HP laptop with windows 8 (I downloaded the windows 8 driver). All I would like to know is how to get each track separate, so drum recordings would come through as a track for each microphone, or the whole band separated into their own tracks, for each instrument. I would also be open to other users of this product sharing their tips and tricks.

Hope this was clear enough.

P.S I use 6 microphones for drum recordings, 2 channels having phantom power activated.
 
A walk through of the steps necessary would be most helpful, thank you.
 
As you have probably guessed, the 6 channels/mics are being put into 1 track on the DAW, I would like 6 channels/mics to equal 6 tracks on the daw
