Roland mmp-2 compressors

This thing was so cheap ($129 at Sam Ash) that I bought it as an extra tool for my studio. My question is, what exactly are the compressors that Roland is trying to emulate? All I see is solid state and versions of tube compressors but no brand names as they've done with the preamp models.



PS: Neve 1073! (I've heard them - apparently Roland hasn't)
