Roland JV 1010 vs Roland JV 1080

Is there any difference as far as the sounds go?
 
The JV1010 has the same sound set as the 1080 plus some more. I'm not sure about the sound quality as I don't own either one. However, I would definitely buy the 1080 because it's programmable right from the unit, way easier to use the multi-timbral set-ups for sequencing. I know people with years of synth experience who can't figure the 1010 out, let alone save sounds to it or use the software. If you want to just play the presets the 1010 would be the less expensive way to go but I love to program and layer and tweak my sounds. That's half the fun of synthesizers.
 
Rolex-Get the 1080 im got the 1010 and im going to get the 1080 i wish i would of got the 1080 at first,and you can only put in one card thats garbage.Is this the rolex from bart?
 
Yup this is Rolex from BART..I already got the 1010 so I was just wondering...Ill probally get the 1080 down the line but I just wanted a cheap module to start with..thanx for the info..
