Rode NTK power supply

I am wondering about the Rode NTK power supply...

With that power supply is there still a need for phantom power?

Just wondering, I know this may be a stupid question...

I have Mackie 1202 vlz pro, just wondering if with the ntk's power supply if the phantom power on the mackie needs to be turned on...

sorry if it's a dumb question... confused:

I read the manual it didn't say anything about phantom power...

I'm a newbie :( :

No, the power supply does just that, provides power for the mic,it's got a special tube cable included.

NTK Power Supply and 48v Phantom Power

Just in case you were wondering...

When I got my NTK, I was concerned about using it through my Mackie 1604 while other mics were connected and using the Mackie's phantom power. So I contacted Rode and they assured me that phantom power will NOT harm the NTK's power supply.

The NTK is a great mic and built like a tank!

If you are looking for power supply for Rode NTK just hit guy from THORtronic at email adress info@thortronic.com.
They have kit. It works great for me. Low noise and you can have cable as long as you want.
