Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem. I recently purchased a rode nt1a which sounds great and would never want to get rid off it but the problem is that whenever i take out the microphone lead all the connection pins move forward.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

To be honest I would exchange microphones cuase that doenst sound right it must make a crackling noise to when it moves while its still connected if you touch.

Maybe someone will have a fix but you might want to exchange it for another one.

Dude sounds like a manufacturers default, good mic too, but the people at Rode have great support...unlike Samson which I had a terrible experience with.

Is there not a screw or something simple like that missing? I don't really want to replace it but if i have to. Also i didn't check if there was any buzzing because i once i noticed that the pins had moved i put it down went to find an answer. I emailed rode on saturday but i guess they don't work on weekends. :(

Whats strange is that when i bought the mic it didn't this problem

yeah ...i have that mic and next to the 57s and the i5's and so on its me go to mic and had no problems with it...just get a new one...these guys are right...return it
