im buying one of these what is your guys input?

I have no expirience with the rode, but I LOVE my 3035, you can't beat it's crisp sound for 200 bucks, 150 on ebay!

Rode NT1A -- Yes!

I picked up a Rode NT1A recently at Guitar Center for $175 (talked 'em down from $199). An absolutley amazing-sounding mic for the money. My recordings have never sounded more professional.

I vote NTK also.. heh. Hear it and the NT1-A, along with others at
http://www.thelisteningsessions.com/session5.htm

Hrm I guess I like the NTK better cause it is a bit warmer. Perhaps I have recording the fiddle in the back of my mind.. cause the more I listen to the NT1-A, I like it.. it is a pretty clean mic heh.

I have both, and find the RODE to be a better sounding mic- clear as a bell, very versitle, and it stands out in the mix more than the 30305 IMO. Walter
