Rode Broadcaster - Any use other than spoken word?

Hi there

Anyone using this mic (with success) for anything other than spoken word? How does it compare to the NT series on (sung)vocals? Any recommended instrument use?

Actually, the question going through my mind whether it is really all that valuable on the spoken word.

I mean that there is such a an abundance of good large diameter condenser mics out there at anywhere fron half to an eighth of the street price. Is there anything that special other than a cute red led?

I've used them for recording acoustic guitar aswell, and they do a really nice job of that. but yes, they are primarily designed as a broadcast microphone.
