Heya folks-here's a little ditty me and a drummer friend-whipped up. Bass and drums recorded live to tascam da-38, and then i added guitars. The tune was done as a kind of joke but people seem to like it.

pretty cool tune... I liked it for the most part... cool outro..it crackled a bit, but I liked it anyway..

There is a bad punch/edit at 3:18.. I think some of the crappyness in the sound is because of it being 96kbps.. For a 5 minute tune it almost sounds unfinished...like more solos or something would help keep it interesting...

cool riffage, the drummer has a nice feel..

good tune overall

Dont listen to BSabbath. More solos are his answer to everything ;)

It sounded a little muffled overall but the groove is cool. Nice bass growl. Great performances.

Nice nice groove...the bass and drums sound real tight. How did you record your bass by the way? Amazing growl on it.

The bass was straight into the board lol......(tascam tmd1000)-I might have run it through a quadraverb-with minimal flange or something-cant remember-I guess I just got lucky that time.....

I Like it

The beginning roll sounds too much like a drum machine though(even though it isnt-- as you said). There are also instruments dropping in and out of the mix--some due to panning but the drums suffer from this too. I would use a different compression setting to even them out.
The guit sounds really good. Sounds a little blackmoreish.

I thought it sounded best when the bass and gtr were playing together...the same kinda riffage. When the gtrs went out on their own...on their space trip, the playing was ok, but the sound seemed to get mid-rangy to me. A wider stereo field would work better imo, too.

I agree..on top of all this, some serious soloing would seem to go great [guns].

If not solos, perhaps keyboards or vocals would be cool as well..

Good groove,
Liked the guitars at about 3:30
where they go from side to side and then join. That's a nice bild up. My biggest complain is that the drums and bas sounded good but guitars didn't have the same sound quality to them. Just little too muddy for my taste (but again it's just my taste :))
Oh ye, like mxmkr said guitars sound ok when they play with the bass
