Does anyone know what effect on Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats', "Rocket 88". What did they do to get that sound on the guitar?

Ike Turner is in the band. But not sure if it's HIS band.

I believe Ike is the piano player on that tune, he was just a band member but still claims to have invented rock & roll on that song
