RME Multiface 2 VS Allen&Heath Zed R16

Hi everybody. I currently use a RME Multiface 2 for my recording needs and I really like the sound. However I want a console so I can really mix. I am 99% sold on the Allen and Heath zed r16 except I do not know how it compares in sound quality to the RME. I obviously don't want to downgrade. Anyone have any experience with RME AND Allen and Heath? I would be willing to ditch the RME if the r16 has at least the same quality converters. Of couse I could always get a seperate converter down the road but I won't be able to do so for a "minute" so I'd like to be in the same sound category for the time being. Thanks.
