RME Converters

I'm in the market to supplement my present converters with 8 more channels. I'm considering RME's ADI 8-DS or the ADI 8-AE.

Anyone with experience with either or both? Any comparisons between the ADI 8-DS and ADI 8-AE or reviews that you know of?

Also, a recommendation of other AD's would be great, but I need 8 channels and I'm not willing to spend more than $1800.

I'm more concerned with AD quality than DA.

Everyone I've heard says the RME converters are excellent. Hopefully a few users will be able to chime in.

Nuendo Audiolink 96 Multiset (RME)

Here is what I owned:

-Delta 1010
-Echo Gina 24
-Echo Mona
-Nuendo Audiolink

I can assure you I prefer the converter of the Audiolink (RME) than the others I tried!
