i currently run a ART voice channel tube mic pree/Compressor. WHAT IS THE BEST SETTINGS FOR COMPRESSORS... i need to learn how to set it

"Bypass" for the most part. Otherwise, it's the settings you need when you need them. Just like anything else.

That is a start. After you understand what it's doing, you will understand what settings to change. It is different for every vocal, every guitar, every take.

There are no settings that work for everything.
