What's your opinion on the ethics of this matter? Personally I see no problem with it. I have ripped so much software that I can't even keep track of it all. Most of it I don't even use..I just ripped it for the sake of ripping. "Ripping" really is a great word.
 
What are you talking about - software theft, or the software that can read CDs? Or do you mean theft of software that can read CDs...???

I believe he is speaking about using cracked/pirated software. Dumbass doesn't even use the right terminology.

Yeah I'm talking about using cracked software that you download from Kazza...it's just as good as the stuff you pay for..except its free.

Thanks for your opinion, but like I said, I never asked for your "help". Too much time on my hands? It's two in the morning..it's not the Bizze part of my schedule. Besided im multitasking..I'm d/ling some cool new cracked software as we speak.

I'll second that! I'm also writing software...
It makes me sick when I see guys like this.

No wonder so many software companies are having a hard time and others are developing stupid copy protection for money that should make better products instead.

Things will get really fucked up if this don't stop.
MS and the big boys won't accept it - and we're all going to be worse off.
 
yeah i think piracy will have to stop soon, programs like kazaa make it too easy to pirate. I guess the same could be said about downloading music to a lesser extent hey?

Companies like digidesign have the right idea though. in order to enjoy pro tools you need to buy a 3000 dollar digi002. pretty clever.
 
i tried writing software and its not exactly the most easiest thing to do....maybe if more kids were taught how to write software in school they'd value the people that create it a bit more.....and plus...its hard to write music software! but then again hes just asking what people think about it.....and heres what i think....i think i can't afford half the music software i'd like to and i'm happy that not all software companies follow the protools idea of using it with their own hardware. but if i was going to buy it and wanted to see what it was like aside from using the demo version which blocks 75% of some stuff i'd want to check out, i'd check out a cracked copy first to mess with it and then i'd still buy it......now if only i could write my own recording software (aaah daydreaming)
 
On that subject, I recently started lurking taperssection. I was surprised how accepted using cracked software is over there.

this kid has balls to come on the forum and say he uses cracked software and see's no problem with it..
its all good yall.. half that shit has a virus in it.. he'll find out soon enough..
but for now.. just another young dumbass..:o
