It wont mean much to many here but I've just heard of the passing of producer and studio design guru John Sayers www.johnlsayers.com

John was active here on HR in the early 2000's and assisted many people even though he was from "down under", he will be missed in the Oz recording industry.

Sorry to hear this I remember him and he was one of the brothers of the time and the Cave... Prayers and good thoughts of consolation and comfort to his friends and loved ones.
 
I have his book and I frequented his website quite a bit to learn about studio construction. Sorry to hear it man and thanks for letting us know.

That dude helped lots of people realize their dreams.
