Overall nice job, I like the piano and guitar part about a third way through. The lead vocals dont really sit in the mix in some places (like at 1:40), (and I like loud vocals) I'd lower them a hair and add a touch more reverb. The parts where the whole band comes in lack something, it doesnt create that BAM in your face those parts should have, I think its the bass (mostly) and drums that are lacking. Overall real nice work. Welcome to HR.

Listening as I type....
Yeah the vocals could use a few less db's
Bring up the piano...and reduce the verb
The loud parts (2:19) are scratchy and clipping and take away from the nice sonics in the soft part.
The second and subsequent parts are better but I still hear some brittleness - what kind of equipment are you using?
The most important part of the song - the song itself - is well crafted and arranged. The singing (which is many times the focal point to the listeners) is "spot on" as my Aussie brother in law Chris would say.

I am using a sm57 on a Fender Champ XD.
The vocals are on a Bluebird. And the kick and snare are replaced over a recorded overhead mic.
The bass is recorded direct input.
I am using logic express. with some waves plug-ins.
I am wondering how I get that punch on the choruses.

I think the bass needs more low end (120hz and under), big contrast occurs when a "big bass" sound comes in, I'd take some highs (8K) off the electric guitars. Learning to layer everything in a mix takes time and practice, keep at it.

listen to this starting at 2:20 Listen to how the bass makes the song go from gentle to sounding big.

I think PDP has it all nailed. Only thing I would add is vocals sound a bit dry for mood. Soft delay or pre delay on very low background reverb for some air.

Thanks jimmys, ya I will definitely mess around with the bass. Im just going to re-record the guitars(they weren't great source recordings).
Thanks PDP, Great advice!!!
