Hey guys. This is our latest rad recording we did the other night. Got inspired by watching some guitar work by sauce and others on youtube so thought we'd throw this big haired track together. You can thank my bandmate for all the 80's rock screams that scatter this track. This one is a blast to jam but was a b*itch to record, we'll probably try again next week. All live as usual, well the guitar is sampled and drums programmed on the ESX, we're not a band. Enjoy, thanks, feedback always welcomed. Rock Yeeeaaahhh!!!

The 21 second scream was priceless.

This is so far outside of my genre that I don't think I should even offer any mix advice, but I wanted to say that I thought it was well done and interesting.

Don't tunes like this usually have a massive low end? That's the only thing that I wondered about.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. It's funny you asked about the low-end on this one because our tracks are usually bass heavy, so I turned the low-end down for the drum and bass tracks. Maybe I'll bring it back up when we re-record. Thanks again!

Conceptual, I enjoyed the listen - but the tune to me is ultimately a little on the repetitious side. Can you please post the lyrics?

Same here, good ideas though, If the arrangement went somewhere sooner and with some more variation(s) I think it could be dern cool.

Thanks all, no lyrics yet for this one. Progression and variation are two things we constantly battle with when recording. We will work some more on this and hopefully re-record in a couple days. Thanks again!

Love how you made listening so easy on the thread... Starts really cool... love that low-res guitar sound...

But yes, it would be nice if that groove could find a melody and become a song... unless you just want to do free form, in which case you are doing well.

Thanks Tobe. This will ultimately just be a free form jam for live shows, but we like to record our jams and make them into "songs". There in lies our constant struggle. This track was actually our 8th recording of the night, our first two being 7-8 minute long "jam songs". Fun for us but not for the listener, obviously;)

I think we are going to re-record this tonight. Any last minute tips? Thanks!
