I'm not completely happy with this one but I'm a bit stuck. Going to redo vocals with new u87 and replace drums (they are stiff to me). But it's listenable now.
bridge is part I really like. any song/technical thoughts and mix suggestions welcome.

Really dig the tune! What mic were you using ? Vocal Chain?
You have a really good voice, but I think the improvement you are looking
for may lie in the processing more than the mic. Cool song man!

This is energetic.

Everything is just right. perfect riffs everywhere.

Lyrics are right on point tonight.

Especially the line "So I go down into a lazy shade of brown"

What good are mix suggestions if you're going to redo the vocals and replace the drums? Dumb.

It's a really good tune. Just post the new one when it's ready.

Thats got real energy and playing's really tight. Your voice is rock strong and not sure which characteristics you expect the new mic to bring. The overall balance feels a touch treble heavy but that may just be the buds. Nice work
