ribbon metal

does anyone know of any professional metal guitar recordings or albums they know have been recorded with a good or high-end ribbon mic just so i can see if i can hear the differences?

or maybe something with a dynamic and a ribbon? seems hard to find something metal that i know for sure has been recorded with ribbons.

i know dynamic mics are generally better suited for metal, it just seems like it'd be cool to hear.

i'm sure there's a lot of them out there, but one that comes to mind right now is the newest sepultura album - i saw a pic somewhere a while back of a 1x12 cab with a royer in front of it when they were tracking guitars

Ross Hogarth used a Royer 121 on a DevilDriver record, if you'd consider that "metal".

Lots of other mics used as well. Take it for what you will.

I'm sure Albini uses ribbons on the guitar amps when he does Neurosis records.
