Anyone have any opinions on the Rhode NT3? A buddy of mine has the NT1, but I wasn't extreemly impressed with it. Thanks!

The Rode NT3 can run on batteries, which could come in handy... and it's an ok sounding MDC budget mic.

I would make an effort to test one before buying. They have a reputation for being somewhat "bright" sounding and the NT3's I've encountered certainly confirmed that reputation...........at least in the context I was hearing them.
