I liked the tune quite a bit and the mix was not too bad. It still seems to lack some "presence" for lack of a better word. The voice is a little lacking in high-end for my taste. The playing is fine and the vocals are too but they don't stand out well enough. A little sparkle in the voice would take care of that.....maybe add a little bit at around 3-4K. Probably closer to 3K.

hey Flash, like the Lt. said, it's lacking some sparkle, but it sounds better then it did.. The vocals and everything is good, but they need some e.q. help. Try Lt's suggestion.. I can't suggest frequencies because I just keep turning knobs until I get bored.. :D I'm not totally crazy about the drums, but the tune is cool.. your voice works good for this tune..

If you use this link www.nowhereradio.com/flash/singles It takes you right to your music..

Thanks Man, I'm getting ready to call my bud and see if he'll come over and help with the EQ and all.

An improvement but still some issues....

The stereo image leans heavily to the right, because you panned rhy gtrs over there... I still think you'd be better off with a stereo spread on them instead of straight panning....

Vocal is louder, but very woolly, so it sounds murky and indistinct...

Also, there is no "dimension" to any of your mix elements, all the tracks exist on the same plane and space....

You could use some ambience on there... and ambience doesn't mean gobs of reverb.... short delays, small ambient room sounds will give your mix some depth.............

Drum sounds are sitting better but also need a "room" around them (ie, space)!

I can live with the mix on the instruments but the vocal doesn't quite "sit". To me it sounds more on top of the mix rather than in it.

Track, Thats what I thought also but everyone wanted the vocals up. Did I over do it?
