Hi there
I need some advice on reverb. On reverb types mainly. I played around with some room verbs (i have the waves stuff) and I really like this sound and I'm fine with it for blues and things like that or reverb-drowned jimi-tribute-songs (check out Pink Elephants if you like). But now I'm working on a hardrock-track again and I really don't know about the reverbs.
I want the guitars to sound quite punchy and as close to the listener as possible. but there still has to be some "air". Drums a bit further back but no 80's "we have the drums somewhere down that warehouse". I'd really love to achieve something like "Can't Get Enough" by Bad Company. What kind of reverbs would you recommend for drums and guitars?
thanks & cheers
