Reverb Primer?

I'm looking for a DAW reverb primer. This EQ primer was quite helpful - http://www.recordingwebsite.com/articles/eqprimer.php - I'm looking for the same kind of thing, except for reverb. Pre-delay? Damping? etc... Maybe some plug-in settings that can mimic a few professional applications would be nice.

Check out this excellent article in Soundonsound. It covers all the usual what ach control does but also goes into practical uses with examples and audio.
