Hi all
I would like to have reverb dialled in when i'm recording vocals, but I want a dry signal going to my p.c.
This is my setup:
Microphone - Pre-mic - Compressor/Gate - Mackie 1604 (older version) - Echo Layla 16/24 - Computer running Cubase SX.
I am using an eight channel snake to connect the Mackie (direct out's) to the Layla.
Outputs One and Two from the Layla are the main outs.
I was about to purchase an Alesis Reverb rack mount, but need to know if it's actually possible to get what I need from my setup.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

You should be fine. Just hook up the reverb to the aux sends. You would probably want to monitor off of the Mackie that way you don't have to run the reverb through the soundcard just for monitoring. Either way will work.
