I just wanted to pop in and heartily thank the folks here who offered their advice as I crafted this project, and pulled the mixes together.

The new collection is complete and can listened to here:

Boy, I have to say ...

It truly is humbling when someone throws their heart and soul into something and doesn't get a single reply ...

... when "Hey There Vagina" gets all sorts of responses ...

Interesting world we live in ... lol ... kind of shows why advertising works as they do it ...

Sounds pretty good. Seems right for the music.

Perhaps people will chime in if you wait more than a matter of hours after posting to decide that nobody's replying....

Edit: Oh, and by the way, I strongly suggest changing the font color on your website, and/or looking into a more washed out or less visually complex background image. Text like that can be next to impossible to read... one of those sites that people have to highlight the text to read it.

I was kidding, bud. I just popped back to look last night, saw the mentioned thread, and it just struck me funny ... so I commented. I wasn't taking anything seriously.

Anyways, absolutely right on the nose on the site lettering. I'm working on it this morning, and it will be corrected shortly.

As is, folks need filtered lenses to make everything out.

I finished up the back cover this morning:

I took the picture from the website, and replaced it with the less contrasted pencil drawn effect of the back cover picture.

The drop in background contrast popped the text forward and more clearly.

I don't want to be responsible for anyone going cross-eyed trying to read the site.

The picture is from my front yard. The car, though, isn't actually a car, it's a ski lift.

My house sits up on the hill of an old local ski resort. My back yard was the novice slope, and my front was the expert slope. Behind the car (not seen) is a huge flywheel that powered the ski tows, down and up the hill from there.

After global warming closed the operation in the late 60's (no snow), a recluse moved into the old warming shack and lived there for 25 years prior to our buying the property. He used to load up old appliances ... washers, dryers, computers, tvs ... and the like, and shoot them w/ a shotgun ... reputedly while stark naked ... every Sunday morning.

Hence, the car ... particularly on the side not shown, is very shot up.

Thats possibly the most random story I've heard as an explanation for album art! So crazy, that it must be true!!

It's a great pic and a tidy album, congrats!

Just an update ...

I got the CD master from the M.E. a couple days ago -- and there were slight changes from the original pre-release. The new versions are now available on my web page.
