Restoring deleted midi track

Hi all,
just noticed I've mistakenly deleted a midi track :facepalm:. Can someone please tell me if it's possible to recover, and if so, how.

The snag is, I need the midi track in order to make certain changes, and if I'm not mistaken the pool only contains audio.

Pretty possitive that no you can not. Sorry man, I just tested something to see if it would work and it gets wiped out as soon as you quit the program. DUMB.

And indeed yes the pool only has video and audio data saved to it.
 
That does seem dumb. The only MIDI I ever really deal with is drum stuff. I will make a point to try not to accidentally delete a track.

Luckily, I didn't delete the audio track so all is not lost. It'll obvously just take a lot longer to recreate that midi track.

Do you have cubase setup to save backups of your project?
