Resophonic guitars

I've been looking to score a decent resophonic guitar and I recently came across two Dean resophonics in a music store. When I went back to play them days later, they were gone. The price was about $480 Canadian. Has anyone bought one of these new Dean resophonic guitars and if so what are your comments about it?
