actually that's not bad considering... the things that stand out are things that"education" would provide..like for instance when you use that brass patch it exceeds the typical range of any one instrument so it ends up sounding fake... and another thing missing is things like escape tones and appagiatura (sp?) the dressing on the salad so to speak... my comp prof would have approved... he always said "ya gotta have a good tree before ya hang the ornaments"... well nice tree...
 
thank you for the comment, I really wanted to know if it wasn't a piece of crap, because you listen so much your compositions that at the end you lose the reference with somebody else ear.

Years ago I use to pray for someday to have any musical lessons (I had a lot of time:)) but now I have the money (I don't have the time:mad:)

And i have to go... i need to check on wikipedia what is ...appagiata???
 
I would suggest being very liberal with the expression pedal when using GPO (it sounds to me like you are using GPO) Especially on the cello and horns. You might want to look at the tutorials on GPO's site on how to get more realistic sounds out of it.
 
thanks for the comment but i didn't even use a keyboard on this one, it's only midi.
 
you should still be able to go in and adjust the cc of what would be the expression pedal if you had one. I don't know the cc# off the top of my head.
 
I don't have an expression pedal either. I do it by hand. It's a bit tedious, but makes a huge difference.

it's just a type of effect... like a trill or an approach/escape tone... like i said earlier ornaments for the tree... if ya wanna wiki it you'll probably need davidk to spell it right... my bad..
