hi guys

I'm just reporting. I haven't been here for a while (been on holiday)

At first I'would like to thank you all who helped me on my homestudio case I couldn't do it with out you.

My set up is

AMD duron 800 based machine with
cakewalk
ECHO MIA, souncard
Behringer MIC2200, preamp
Johnson j-station
shure sm58

and I'm pleased, pure sound...

no compatibility problems

the projects is moving... I will post the fruits to mp3 clinic in near future.

I mainly bought the mic2200 for the price and it seems to be a rare behringer product that has got positive replies. I'm no preamp guru, but in my case I've been happy with it. If your looking for warm tube sound the mic2200 may not be your choice (don't know what the hell the tube is doing there, seems like there is leds behind it that makes it looks like it's on), but if you're looking for low-cost good two-channel preamp which has a clear sound it might be the one for you.
