hey, y'all--

i wanna turn a few (dozen) of my instruments and amps into money and space. i'm missing quite a few knobs, or rubber nipples for slider pots, or just that handy decal that tells you if your reverb knob's at 1 or 11.

online searches for "knobs" have turned up furniture handles, or porn, or these things that make your tone control look like an orc's head or whathaveya.

anybuddy (LIGHT--you big 'ol brainhead) know where i can get this stuff inexpensively? i can give details of what i've got (and of how i castrate stuff-stealers with a garden weasel)...

We have a local salvage yard here that deals with alot of old used electronic equipment. They have boxes full of knobs for like ten cents apiece. You might be able to find something like that near where you are.

Any Fender dealer or warranty center (not cheap)
Any Gibson dealer or warranty center (again, not cheep).
You could Try Stew Mac, but I doubt it.

One thing to add to my post. Stew Mac is not a great place for knobs (though part of my thinking on that is they don't give me a wholesalers break, which Allparts and WD do, and is not a part of your equation), but they do carry the best metal dome knobs.
