already mixed

That's tough to do then... I recommend finding a Karaoke Plugin, you can mess with the settings to remove vocals and possiblily do Reverse Karaoke and keep just the vox then

You really need to have sepperate tracks to take anything out. Once a song is mixed, you can only add to it. Sometimes you can eq the vocals low enough and sing over them, but that is not what you are going after.

do u know where i can find a karaoke plugin?

I'd just search for "karaoke plugin" on google or shareware.com, you should be able to find some trial. The only one I've used was through Nero Buring rom, but it's features are real limited.

Hehe...losing it, are we? Why should I help you when you stole your software? I can't believe anyone else is helping you, but that's their perogative. Personally, I think you should learn how to spell, change your diapers, and crawl back into your crib, Juniah. :D

And my mother's uncle is too busy with yo Mama these days...have a good one. :p

Ummm guys....?

I stole some software off the Internet and now I'm trying to figure out how to steal someone else's already mixed songs and mix em to where they sound like mine...

Can you help?

Such language.....do you kiss your mom with those lips? BTW......most users here frown on using cracked software......if you don't have a manual, you probably stole the software. Most of us on this forum bought our software and learned how to use it by reading the manual, and no-one here is gonna give you a magic button to push. Have a nice day!!! :D

Yeah I still tried to help, just giving the dude the benefit of the doubt, assuming he "downloaded" the trial version of Cool Edit Pro. Then again, he could have easily brought that up instead of avoiding certain questions... looks like we've found a real pirate amongst us! ARRRGH!

Now stop being awkward RAMI :p

I was going to say that here I am recruiting pirates for you and I didn't even get a so much as an "Arrrggghhh!".

Hi this has prob been posted bofore but can anyone tell me how i can remove the beat from a song and just have the voice left. thanks

(cool edit pro 2.1)
This is a little known way of doing it but it works. Record the song onto a cd and remove the cd from the drive. You know how when a scratch will make a cd skip over stuff..well what you need to do is crack the cd while holding it in your hand. Don't crack it totally in half, just from the center to the edge. Somehow the hairline crack causes the redbook requirements to skip over the backing track and plays the vocals only.

After you do that you need to copy the cracked cd onto a new CD-R for it to work right in the cd player. The new cd should play with the vocals only on the Cool Edit Pro. It sorta like uncracks a crack but it's not all what its cracked up to being.

No, you're not following directions. The CD is supposed to crack up, not you :p
