Remove Beat From Song

Hi this has prob been posted bofore but can anyone tell me how i can remove the beat from a song and just have the voice left. thanks

When you purchased your Cool Edit pro, did it come with a manual? I don't own Cool Edit Pro, so I can't help you on how specifically. Where did you get it from?
