remote desktop audio

I have a setup where I can control my DAW remotely using a wireless laptop.
For some reason, I can not bring the audio from Sonar 5 to the laptop. Audio from other apps like WinAmp comes over fine. Any ideas?

Sonar 5 producer
M-Audio delta66 / OmniStudio

Probably because you are using WDM/ASIO drivers.

Remote Desktop only deals with DirectSound/MME.

Sonar is not using windows to play the sounds... it is playing directly through the hardware. I don't think it's going to work with remote desktop.

Doesn't look like I'll be able to make that happen. I think I'll just run speaker cable from the desktop to monitors in the remote recording area. Thanks for the input.
