remapping midi problems

Hello. I'm having trouble figuring out how to re-map my various nobs and sliders in Cubase SX 3. I am using a CME UF5 and I want to map the volume slider to the Filter resonance of my Bass-Station vst but don't know how. Can you help?
 
look up in the bass station manual (or help file) which CC that knob uses and assign your slider to that. Alternately, if there is a automap feature in the VSTi, just turn that on, select the control and move the slider on the keyboard.
