I've been reading "Modern Recording Techniques," and am wondering about Reference CDs. will and well mastered CD Work? what qualities does a refernece CD have?
If anything I would likely use "The Christmas Attic" By Trans-Siberian Orchestra, because It seems (To Me) to really stand out more than other albums on quality sound systems, whigh will give me clear highs, and a moderately bunchy bass, and a distorted electric guitar won't muddy the highs. produced by the strings section.
What do you think? Am I out of my mind?
