Go to www.egroups.com and sign up for electronics repair discussions specifically audio repair to look through the archives there and also to post a fix request or just browse through and look for a common repair.

P.S. what kind of problem are u having?
A friend gave me an old Sony reel to reel... the mechanics work great but I think one of the heads is gone. Sounds like a radio station that's there then gone... just wondering which head it was record or playback. I don't wanna put a good tape in to see if it's playback becuase I don't want to erase a good tape.
