Got I think 1 response from someone who said they had one and never used it.

I inquired about buying his and he never responded at all.

Red Rover's an external box, a controller, for Cool Edit. People who have one say it works well. It came out not too long before Syntrillium got bought out by Adobe. I don't think Adobe has continued selling them. You can check here though:
