I've got a bedroom studio, and recently got tired of cutting keyboard parts on my Oxygen-8, so I pulled my Kurzweil SP-88 out of mothballs. Kinda cool that it fits on my desk. Playing is way better now, but there's no room for my PC keyboard or mouse anymore. I can balance the keyboard on a corner of the SP or my lap, but it's pretty rickety, and the (optical) mouse is hopeless.

So tonight I went for it - I bought a USB laptop sized keyboard with a touchpad from http://www.fentek-ind.com/ . A little pricy - $81 including S/H - but worth every penny if it helps solve my desk space issue.

I might finally attach that drawer, too...

WEll I had the similiar problem, I had a mixer, midi controler and normal keyboard all to fit on one desk. I actually found THE perfect desk at walmart!...no really, and it is pretty sturdy. I can't remember the name brand no can I find a picture on the web. But go check out wally world...they might have a nice desk for cheap ($50!!!!!!).

Is this a solution ;-)

I'm looking forward to getting one when they are available in OZ.

Nah - Prodikeys is a toy. mini-keys.

I am rethinking this (now that it's too late), maybe should've also gone for wireless - could sit it in my lap then. Still, this should be an improvement - damn mouse was making me nuts!
