I've run into a bit of a delema...whilst waitin for my "studio" to be built i wanna record a few tracks at a proper studio but seein as the beats are made on a pc how the fuk do i do this.....other then burnin the instruumnetal to cd....anyone who has had the same problem..... i was thinkin of recording every part to an 8 trak....like leavin a track each for kicks snare samples ect ect?
is this the best way, is there a better way....please help

You could do it either way, it depends on what you're hoping to accomplish.

If it was me, I'd do it both ways. If you're generating the drums on the PC (depending on the program), you can probably export each track (one for kick, one for snare, etc..) to it's own .wav file - then you've got all the flexibility you need. One copy tracked, one copy mixed.

you know if you had Pro Tools you could just bring in your hard drive and continue right where you left off in the real studio...
