How do i record from a cassette player to my computer, then to my cd burner? cass deck is in sound card i can hear the tape through my computer speakers...please help holding computer at gun point...

You will need a program capable of recording .wav files - your CD burner might have even came with one bundled with the software. Now, you might need to toggle the your sound card's mixer options... I know soundblaster cards have the little yellow speaker icon in the systray. In the recording section make sure you have it set to record wav files. Once the recording is saved in .wav format your cd burning software should be able to burn the .wav file onto cd. Wav files take up a lot of space. You might want to convert your wav files into mp3 format to get more songs on a cd. I hope this helps...
